• Memo of Appearance ହେଉଛି ଗୋଟିଏ ଲିଖିତ ପତ୍ର (Formal Written Document) ଯାହାକି ଅଧିବକ୍ତା (Advocate / Lawyer) ଦାଖଲ କରନ୍ତି,
• ଯାହାଦ୍ୱାରା ଅଦାଲତରେ (Court) ସେ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ ମାମଲାରେ କେଉଁ Party (Plaintiff/Defendant) ପକ୍ଷରେ Present / Represent କରୁଛନ୍ତି – ସେଥିରେ ତଥ୍ୟ ସୂଚନା ଦିଆଯାଏ।

Memo of Appearance ର Uses (ବ୍ୟବହାର):

1. Court Record ପାଇଁ:
   Court ରେ କେଉଁ Party କୁ କେଉଁ Advocate Represent କରୁଛନ୍ତି, ସେଥିରେ Official Record ରହିବା ପାଇଁ।
2. First Hearing / Initial Stage:
   Case ପ୍ରଥମେ call ହେବାବେଳେ, Advocate ଯଦି Vakalatnama file କରିନଥାନ୍ତି, ସେ “Memo of Appearance” ଦେଇ case re presence mark କରନ୍ତି।
3. Interim Representation:
   କେବେ କେବେ Party urgent matter re court ଆଗରେ stand କରିବାକୁ ପଡ଼େ, କିନ୍ତୁ Vakalatnama sign / execute ହୋଇନଥାଏ – ସେଥିରେ “Memo of Appearance” file କରି temporary appearance କରାଯାଏ।
4. Case Record Update:
   Court staff (Reader/Bench Clerk) Advocate name record କରନ୍ତି, future notices / order copy Advocate address କୁ ପଠାଯାଏ।
